Textile laboratory technician

Textile laboratory technicians investigate and analyze the chemical and physical properties of textile raw materials, semi-finished and finished products and textile auxiliaries. In addition, they participate in product development.

What conditions do I have to meet?

• at least a good secondary modern school certificate (Realschulabschluss)
• good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
• interest in technical developments
• scientific and technical understanding
• good motoric skills
• team ability

What does the training look like?

• in the laboratory (quality assurance)
• applying test methods
• evaluation of measurement results
• determination of the characteristics of materials and resources
• application and preparation of technical documentation
• vocational school
