We are looking for a new colleague to join our procurement department in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This position is part of ZF’s ADAS & HPC business, which is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation within the advanced automotive technology space. The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies..

What you can look forward to as a Sr. Commodity Buyer Electronic Modules / EMS (f/m/d):

Manage and negotiate purchasing price for a commodity and/or a defined set of suppliers within a commodity.
Define respective strategy and review sources and bundling opportunities for cost-saving methods and opportunities; achieve the target cost established by the business unit for the commodity while adhering to established sourcing process.
Analyze assigned market to prepare and recommend strategic suppliers.
Support and define the development of and ensure the adherence to part family strategies.
Strong ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Participate in continuous improvement programs to promote team efforts.

Your profile as a Sr. Commodity Buyer Electronic Modules / EMS (f/m/d):

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field.
3-5 years of advanced experience in a professional purchasing capacity (i.e. technical/commodity purchasing, purchasing project management, purchasing management, etc.).
Experience with supplier analysis and evaluation (i.e. quality, capacity, cost, etc.).
Strong background with supplier bidding process and complex negotiations.
Experience with APQP and/or project management tools and methods.
Fluent in English.
