Machine and plant operator in textile engineering

Machine and plant operators with focus on textile engineering operate and maintain machinery and equipment for the production of coated textiles.

What conditions do I have to meet?

• good secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)
• good grades in German and Mathematics
• interest in technical developments
• chemical and technical understanding
• good motoric skills
• team ability

What does the training look like?

• duration of training: 2 years
• work in production and fabric inspection
• setup, operation and maintenance of production machinery and equipment
• monitoring of process operations
• assigning and handling materials, operating materials and auxiliaries
• vocational school
