As a Linux Client and Server Administrator you are responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimization of Linux systems in a large virtualized environment with more than 400 users.

These exciting tasks await you:

• Installation and configuration of Rocky Linux

• Automation of installations with Kickstart, Ansible and other tools

• Provision and administration of applications

• Carrying out system updates and patching

• User and group administration with connection to Microsoft Active Directory

• Operation, update and backup of databases

• Operation and further development of monitorin solutions with Icinga2, Grafana and Prometheus

• 1st and 2nd level support

Your soft skills:

• Very good communication and teamwork skills

• Independent and responsible way of working

• Curiosity and motivation to deal with new topics

• The ability to solve complex problems independently

Our requirements:

• Ideally a degree in computer science or equivalent training

• You have a high affinity for Linux technologies and ideally have already gained experience in a comparable position

• Sound practice in Linux (Rocky/RHEL)

• Confident handling of Bash and Python

• Familiarity with LDAP and monitoring tools (Icina, Grafana, Prometheus)

• Knowledge of MySQL and OracleDB

• Good written and spoken German and English skills
