The business unit Corporate Investment Products-Germany is part of Corporate Treasury Sales belonging to the greater unit Client Risk Management & Treasury. It combines the investment & solution expertise for corporates, pension schemes & other institutional clients of UniCredit across various asset classes. Being responsible for the German market we deliver tailor-made products to our clients in the fixed income, credit, FX, and equities space out of Munich. This includes generating trade ideas, pricing products, creating term sheets, preparing marketing material & sales pitches, assessing individual solutions, and many more tasks to enable a successful corporate investment business. We are offering the internship to students that are enthusiastic about financial markets, have an economics background and an interest in quantitative methods and/ or programming.
What you'll be doing
- A motivated team in an agile international environment with focus on German clients
- Real life challenges close to clients, sales, and trading
- Projects focusing on optimizing data analysis, management reporting and organizational topics
- Learning opportunities around financial products and solutions for corporate and institutional clients
- Insight into daily business by supporting the team in transaction management, creating client presentations and documentation
- Getting first insights in derivatives pricing, trading systems, and Bloomberg
What you'll need to succeed
- Study in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Informatics, or related studies
- An analytical, structured mindset, including programming affinity
- Focus on details and the ability to simplify and speed up processes and workflows
- Interest in financial markets, structured products, and the financial industry
- Ability to work within a demanding and dynamic team environment and a proactive and solution driven attitude
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Programming skills in VBA and data management in Microsoft Office/ Excel is a plus
- Knowledge with regards to derivative products is a plus
- Very good English and German language skills
